STERILE TRANSPORT TUBE WITH FREEZETECH TEMPERATURE INDICATOR
MTC Bio self-standing transport tubes — often referred to as mailing tubes or transport vials—are made of virgin polypropylene and are supplied with 1¼ turn screw caps attached. These tubes are certified to be leak-proof and 95kPa compliant and are now available with MTC Bio’s exclusive FreezeTech™ Temperature Indicator.
With FreezeTech™, each tube features a temperature indicator patch that starts turning blue at 4°C and becomes dark blue when the tube (and its contents) reach 0°C. The indicator patch returns to its original transparent grey color as the sample temperature approaches 4°C and above. This serves as a warning that critical samples may be reaching undesirable temperatures, making it the ideal vessel for transport of temperature sensitive materials.
