These flexible microcapillary tips are designed for filling glass microinjection capillaries used for cell injections. They are also ideal for highly precise, bubble free transfer of extremely small volumes. The microinjection tip is frequently used with a glass Femtotip® (a microinjection capillary). It facilitates easy and ultra-precise back-loading of solution into the glass Femtotip®. The ultra-fine (0.33mm diameter) tip is the smallest of its kind. Small diameters have been proven to enhance cell viability and microinjection success rates.
Suitable for a wide variety of molecular biology applications, such as cloning, genetics research, virus research and cell biology, the ultra-fine capillary end is especially useful for loading gels. These microinjection capillary tips are completely compatible with all universal 2µL and 10µL pipettors. They are also functional with 20µL pipettors, but the tip must be manually removed.
